INGREDIENTS
1 pound ground turkey
1 egg
½ cup Italian breadcrumbs
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup feta cheese
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp Italian seasoning
¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well.
Shape into 4 equally sized patties (about ½ inch thick) and place on sprayed baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes or until internal cooking temperature reaching 165°F.
For a low-carb option simply swap the romaine lettuce leaves out for the bun. Enjoy!
Note* To add an avocado mash to the top of your burger simply mash 1 avocado, juice of half a lemon, and sea salt together and dollop on top.
