Neal Shipley, our 2025 Lending Hearts Gala Honoree

Lending Hearts was privileged to present this year's Lending Hearts Friend Award to professional golfer, Neal Shipley, Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the 13th Annual Lending Hearts Gala presented by UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, Pirates Charities and Bristol Myers Squibb.

Neal Shipley is Pittsburgh native recently won the Low Amateur title at both the Masters Tournament and the U.S. Open, capturing the attention of the golf world. Shipley’s accomplishments extend beyond the course as he is a strong advocate for junior golf programs in Western Pennsylvania, inspiring young players and giving back to the community that helped shape him.

“My experiences volunteering with pediatric oncology patients and their families during college deeply impacted me,” says Shipley. “I’m committed to contributing to Lending Hearts and the incredible work they do for children and families here in Pittsburgh.”
