2017 Lending Hearts Gala
an Evening of Celebration & Hope
Our 2016 Lending Hearts Friend Award honoree was Pittsburgh Councilman, Corey O'Connor. Mr. O'Connor will be back at the 2017 Lending Hearts Gala to present to our 2017 honoree, Mr. James Conner. Mr. O'Conner will also present a City of Pittsburgh Proclamation to Lending Hearts.
James Conner personifies the mission of Lending Hearts. He recently had a very public and strong fight against cancer, but James is much more than his diagnosis. James continually finds a way to lend his heart to others in need by spending time with them, talking with them or simply inspiring them through his actions and no fear attitude. We are honored to present the 2017 Lending Hearts Friend Award to James Conner.

Our Lending Hearts Ambassador Award honoree will be Ms. Jamie Guerry. Jamie is a remarkably strong young woman who has had a long battle with cancer. Through it all, she continually leads her life inspiring others. She makes a difference in the community by doing. Her efforts in raising awareness of childhood/young adult cancer and the need for families to have support and the efforts of Lending Hearts make her a true ambassador.
